Utilizing cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam and various fabrics, leather and vinyl, Mebfab creates multi-dimensional "Soft yet Rigid" cases, holsters, handbags, and containers for OEM electronic equipment, devices, and other items.
Fabrics, leathers or vinyls are flame bonded (laminated) to XLPE foam in various densities and thicknesses. These sheets are then heated and placed onto cooled male and female tooling and pressure formed into various shapes. Once the shapes have been created, the edges are then cut clean with steel rule dies. Our secondary operation can include installing zippers, snaps, buttons, straps or other accessories to create the final finished product.
What makes our pressure formed parts and cases so unique is that they combine product image, aesthetics and function all into one single product. Our products are a high tech alternative to traditional "Cut and Sewn" products, bringing your product into the industrial design spotlight.
There is no limit to what can be manufactured with this manufacturing system. Virtually any fabric, vinyl or leather can be formed into virtually any shape you can imagine.
Together we can help you with product design and development. This may include optimizing function, choosing a fastening system, even embossing or debossing your company logo. Whatever your desire, we can help you make it happen. Call us now and let us show you how we can help you improve your product image with these way cool cases.
